I'm not sure whether this is just my server or if it's possible with all servers, but my server just got attacked by two guys, being able to perform all commands, ban people, etc etc. I just shut the server down.

Thanks for your help on this matter. I think it will be helpful for everyone who got hacked to list their server's configurations so we can start to try to figure out how it happened.
Now, I know some people will feel uncomfortable in discussing the list of plugins or what not they use for their server, so use your throw-aways if you feel that way. Here are the information which I propose may help us get started.
Server environment: Dedicated server / Mine OS / Renting from hosting provider (i.e. Redstone host and alike).
Control panel: None / McMyAdmin / other (please specify). Server type: Vanilla / Bukkit / Other (please specify). Server version: 1.3.2 Vanilla / Bukkit 1.3.1 RB 2.0 / Bukkit 1.3.2-R02-b2355 / etc. Plugins used: Essentials / Factions / HardCore / General / PermBukkit / etc. If we can have a collective list of what were the stack looking like when it happened, we can isolate this more quickly, report it to relevant parties and get it resolved for everyone quicker. Skip the slot numbers, CPU type, and RAM, those are not relevant for the most part. Don't list your server's IP/hostname so hackers doesn't just look in this thread and go to wreck your server again.

Please reply to this if and only if you've gotten hacked in the same or seemingly similar method as described by the OP (i.e.: unknown people logon and gained OP access). Other hacks might be out there, but we don't want to get confused by different hacks, just yet.
Hello screech178, Multicraft is very difficult to hack. Your old host might of had their database passwords as 1234. I assure you, if Multicraft were easy to hack, 60 to 70% of all minecraft hosts wouldn't be using it.
