I have EXACTLY the same problem, and EXACTLY the same setup as you. However, the problem has only really started to rear its head since I upgraded from Reason 3 to 4. The MT4 would get stuck in Patch mode as you said. Only launching the Audio/MIDI Setup would toggle the USB light and allow Reason to accept MIDI information. Then it stopped working completely last night.

I have tried reinstalling the drivers - nothing. Found these here which I will try tonight: But not that hopeful. I'm just grateful that I have an External Firewire Audio Card with a MIDI in and out.

Still not as many as the MT4, but I am kind of resigned to accepting it's dead. I've had it over 6 years already, so its had a good life. Keep me updated with your progress, as I'd love to get it up and running again. Jan 17, 2008 5:50 AM. Download the latest drivers for your Emagic MT4 - MIDI to keep your Computer up-to-date. Install the driver from the CD, then power the MT4 off and on by temporarily disconnecting it from the USB port on the computer. Setup is now complete. You may now switch on your MIDI devices and start Unitor8 Control, or your preferred sequencer software. Only Emagic Logic Audio 4.0.1 or higher and SoundDiver 2.1.
